GUIDE ABOUT USING MUHAX

How To Connect To A Private Server:
1. Make sure you DL that servers patch! (If anyone on the forum needs the main.exe of a certain private server PM me, I have like 16 different main.exes for different servers ><) Also (for the *****s) make sure you are REGESTERED for the private server)
2. Bring up the hack
3. Tab into the other section
4. (this is what I do, havent tred a "www." yet) Find the servers real IP address, for instance, say if you were playing true MU (IP=www.truemu.no-ip.com) this is what you need to do, bring up your command/DOS prompt (its usually in Start-Allprograms- Accessories) type in the command prompt "ping www.whatevermyprivaterserveris.com" (without the quotation marks) so for this server you would put "ping www.truemu.no-ip.com" without the quotation marks. You would come up with a number IP and for this server you get 217.132.93.1, so whatever IP you came up with, in a number form, you would put that in the spot that says IP address under the "other" tab.
5. MAKE SURE, you check the "Use the specified server instead of international" box and the sever < .98 box
6. Go to the general tab, make sure that Your IP is correct and you have your username and password correct, alsto make sure that your Mu Dir points to the correct main.exe.
7. Hit launch Server
8. Hit launch MU and have your minimizer ready and kicking
9. log into your account ect...

If you did everything I said above (make sure you have the servers patch and main.exe, that is very important) you should be able to connect.

For global, its a bit more complicated, you need to follow the very well written guide (with pics) found on the homepage, its under LoopBack Settings at http://muhax.jugla.net/index.php

There is also a very good guide by SunGam (this next portion is ALL his, he wrote it and stuff =D) (I cut out the link part of his guide since I have it above)

1 - Make sure you have .Net framework 2.0 installed, or download and install from Microsoft:There
2 - Extract loopback.zip to temp folder and run loopback.exe, wait some time, loopback will be installed in background, after this go START > SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS and check for “Microsoft Loopback Adapter”, go to properties, and check the IP Address, must be 221.148.39.246 and Netmask 255.255.255.0, if all ok, go to next step.
3 - Now extract LipSum.rar to some folder and wn.rar to muonline folder.
4 - Run LipSum.exe and set inside file “YOUR IP:” to same ip of loopback, 221.148.39.246 and press “Launch Server”
5 - Go to Muonline folder and run Travis.exe, set your resolution and press “Begin” then run Muonline.
6 - Done, the hack are installed and working.

ALSO! Make sure you delete everything out of your gameguard folder whenever you connect!

A few things about connecting to global, forget everything I said in the private section part. When connection to global make sure you "Uncheck" everything in the "Other" tab of the hack.

Ok... we now know how to connect to the servers with the hack, but oh, what to do with all of those nifty little buttons?

Hotkeys: In the "hotkeys" section of the hack you will see a whole bunch of hotkeys for when you are ingame and your to lazy to click on the hack, I would recommend changing the "decrease hits by 10" part because if you are holding down ALT to see the items and you hit "Q" to use a potion, you will lower your hitcount.
These are the hacks set HotKeys:
AK V1 Alt+A
AK V2 Alt+Z
AF V3 Alt+E
Deactivate all AK Alt+T
Decrease hits by 10 Alt + Q (I would change this one)
Decrease hits by 1 Alt + S
Increase hits by 1 Alt + D
Increase hits by 10 Alt + F
Activate logs Alt + W
Teleport Alt Alt + X
Exit / Disconnect Alt + C (I would change this one too, it gets annoying)
Show/Hide MiniMap F12
Change map + or -
Also AF V4 and Fast walk can be set as hotkeys

AK and hits: Here is my own guide on how to get the best out of this part of the hack, how to kill fast, and how to get drops (which is awesome), but first lemme explain what each one does.

AK1 Kill waht appears: My personal favorite AK, what happens is, as you mvoe around, monsters spawn and/or appear on your screen, well, the second they appear on the screen, it kills them, or starts hitting them, depends on your settings. If you have this on, go to your teleport part of your map, and set it on the map you are currently on, and teleport around the map. Be sure to wait about 2 seconds before each teleport. You will get EXP like no other, this is very good fro gaining levels.

AK2: This one is interesting, you start by finding some min/max X and Y co-ords, you put them in the spaces in the hack that say X any Y co-ords, when you turn this on, you will teleport around and kill things that show up. You will usually get DCed or end up in lorencia if you use this.

AK3 Kill everything that moves: Man... this is godly, you turn this one, and everything, I repeat everything around you will die. Sounds good doesnt it? Well there is one downside (or upside, depends on how you look at it), it also kills players.

AK4 Kill what spawns back: This is pretty self-explaitort, if you use this, you will kill monsters that spawn back, and, I have found, that it will kill monsters that spawn back even when your not on the screen.

-ATTENTION: PEOPLE! If you want drops follow the following instructions, I have found that I get drops 90-100% of the time useing this. (this is way #1)
1. Go ingame, log into your account blah blah blah
2. Set your hitcount to oh, say, about 50ish...
3. Set your hit intervals to about 650
4. (this next part I have only tested on private servers, please let me know if it works) When you hit a monster your hits should be going very slowly and you should be able to move around so it cant hit you, if you hit it a second time, it will start a second count of 50, so its really like you are hitting the monster twice as many times, if you look at it and compare it to if you only hit it once, you will see a difference, hit it up to 4-6 times, any higher and I cant say you will get a drop.

So, each time you hit it, it will start over another count of 50, with your set intervals as high as they are it will seem slow at first but the more you hit a monster the faster it seems and you will get much better drops than if you just keep it at 50, or you just use the 6 hit count method.

Tweak for "small" private servers:
Most private servers have very few people on them, and if you want to seriously gain some levels fast and get drops follow the guide above but make a few changes, put on AK3 and AK4, but do not so that untill you can go to dungeon, most people in private servers go to Davias because they think its fast, but its not, dungeon IMO is better. So when you are level 20, go to dungeon and put in co-ords 45 185, make sure you have everything set up the way I had it and just walk around there, you will get a ton of mobs (dont wander to far) and tons of drops, have fun ^^

Edit: If you think this way is to "slow" (I think its the fastest way to get drops) you could also try setting your "Hits intervals" to unused and your hitcount to 6, you usually get drops about there, any higher and no drops (you may or may not, 6 is normally the best number with a hit interval of 0)

So yeah, thats the best way I have found to get drops, if anyone else has any recommendations please feel free to post them here.

If you used MuPieX you know that AK2 usually isnt a very good idea, you get teleported to lorencia alot if you use it, and usually its harder to get drops while useing it, its a good idea, but currently, it doenst work to well... BUT! If you still want to know how to use it, this is how:

Get into an area, say LostTower7, and you want to teleport everywhere and kill all of teh monsters, well, this is what you need to do, find some good min and max X and Y co-ords, for LostTower I would recommend 10-53, and for Y 166-243, set those as your co-ords, you will then teleport all through upper losttower and kill stuff. You can change the co-ords as you want, but becarefull, like I said above, you will end up in lorencia alot...

Also, do not try to use all of the AK's at once, or even 3 of them, you will get DCed, if not immideatly, after a few mins, only use 1 or 2 together, and dont use AK2 with any of the other ones, you get DCed ALOT!

Logs: This is just a log of stuff, press Alt + W to activate it

Teleport: If you look at it, its pretty self explainitory, if you have teleport on client side checked, you will teleport to the spot and there will be no monsters or NPCs for a sec (like its lagging) and then they will show up after a second. If you have both teleport options checked you just teleport straight there with no delay. You ca choose different maps in the top right, you also have a list of common places you might want to go in a certain map.

AutoLogin: Well, I cant seem to get this to work... like teleport its pretty self-explanitory, but, like I said, I cant seem to get it to work...

FaQs: (I will slowly be adding to this as I answer more questions)
Q: HELP! I am getting an error that says "wrong password or server name"!
A: If you are in a private server it could mean that the server is down, from my experience, whenever I got that error was when the server was down, or I messed up the IP of the server. Another thing that can cause it is having an older version, be sure to go to the site and re-DL the hack to make sure you have the latest version, if you are 100% sure you have the most updated version you can try re-extracting it, if all else fails, restart your comp... that has fixed it for me a few times

Q: HELP! Im getting DCed while using the different AK's!
A: Yes, you will get DCed alot while useing the different AK's. It has alot to do with your internet connection (you will get DCed a ton if you have a 56K) and the servers connection, Global is usually VERY VERY laggy, so you get DCed alot. The more laggy it is, the more of a chance you have to get DCed. It also has alot to do with your hitcount, the higher your hits are, the higher you chance of getting DCed is, on most private servers I can have it on 50 and not get DCed for about 20-30 minutes, when I am in Blood Castle I tend to set it to 500 so I can kill a ton really quickly, by doing so I get DCed in about 30 seconds-3 minutes, it all depends...

Q: HELP! Im getting the Microsoft Network Frame Error!
A: I would recommend that you have both .net framework 1 and 2, you need BOTH for hack to run properly, the links to DL them are somewhere near the top of this guide, If you already have 1 installed and dont have 2, I would recommend reinstalling 1 and then do 2, and if all else fails, restart your comp and try to reinstall.

Q: Can I be detected in a private server?
A: There are 2 answers for this, Yes and No. I have a few friends who are admins of their own private server and I have asked them to see if they can detect me while using this hack. They CAN NOT detect you if you use it in any of the "normal" maps (such as, Lorencia, Davias, Noria, Dungeon, Lost tower, Atlans, and Tarkan). Dont get me wrong though, they still can detect it there if they look through a whole freaking ton of logs, and thats a major pain in the arse to do. However, if you use it in Devil Square or Blood Castle, they CAN detect it VERY easily. Be warned, dont use it there

Q: Can i use this hack in any other OS than XP?
A: As far as I know, you can't, with the current version, as it now is, none of you peeps on win98, or win2000 can use this hack. Tough Luck, go get XP, buy a new computer or something, this hack is worth it (plus 98 sucks anyway =P)

Q: Help! I am getting DCed even without useing the different AK's whenever I hit a monster, or after I hit a few monsters
A: Well, first off, chances are you are using a hitcount thats very high (most people are trying to use 500 or higher, if you are having to use 500 hits to kill a monster, its to strong for you anyway), if you have that high of a hitcount, chances are, you will be DCed, dont use it that high, you can in private servers (If I want fast killing in a private server, set it to kill what appears with 300 hitcount, then tele around the map and kill everything), but in global, no way can you go that high...

Q: Help! Gameguard is DCing me after _____ amount of time
A: Heh... this one made me laugh... Gameguard cannot currently detect this hack, if you get DCed its your own damn fault...

Q: Help! I am killing monsters but the EXP isnt showing up!
A: Thats normal when you are using the AK's, dont worry though, keep killing, you are still getting the EXP, but when this happens, if you try to move any of your equipment, or try to move/warp somewhere, you will probably get DCed.

Q: Help! I am not able to connect to a private server with a port other than 44405
A: At this time I do not think you can connect to a server with a different port, if you change the ports it will still listen in on 44405 and the gameserver port...

Well... umm yeah, thats it for my guide...
